As art director, I needed to create a logo that represented the values of our agency. I developed various logos in my ideation process. I wanted to use more rounded elements to give a sense of approachability. Thin linear elements were also heavily used to create a sleek and versatile design with professionalism. I played with the idea of different uses of marks- from bookmarks, exclamation marks and linear marks- to correspond with our brand promise "be remarkable".

We defined ourselves as a playful yet professional agency founded by a group of all women. I implemented a color palette to reflect those characteristics. A slate blue color was used to give stark contrast and added an element of sophistication and professionalism, a mango orange shade was used to add a cheerful and playful disposition and a subtle pink was used to hint at the idea of a female-run agency.

For the final logo we decided to go with a design inspired by exclamation points (representative of the dots and straight line) emphasizing our ability to make our clients stand out from the crowd. For the logotype, I decided to go with an abstract bookmark, again reinforcing the idea that our agency is truly noteworthy.

The final pattern for our business card was created, utilizing the same balance of professionalism and playfulness for our brand. This pattern was spread across our entire stationary package to create cohesiveness.
